some weeks ago a strong acid fell on my hand in chemistry lab in school. My burns are gone but the color of my skin has become bright yellow on the affected area and the color is not getting back to normal skin color.
what should i do??it should go back eventually, my friend did the same thing and all his skin shed eventually. It wont look pretty when it shed's but it will go away. The acid burned your skin. You are seeing burned perhaps dead skin. What did your chemistry teacher tell you? It has been several weeks, but I think I would still have it checked out by my doctor. Chances are it is just going to take time to heal, but ask your parents what they feel is best to do.see your school doctorBurn the other hand so they at least match ?
Go to a Doctor you silly boy.You probably should have brought this to the attention of your teacher. Ask your teacher what he/she thinks you should do at this point.
You don't say which acid it was, so it's kind of hard to give any advice other than talking to the teacher and possibly a doctor.Make sure you are soaking it with peroxide. And use aloe based lotion because it helps skin grow. How concentrated was it? If it was less than 1.0 M you shouldn't experience anything other than a little tingling. If it was pretty concentrated, you'd have to wait a while until the burns come off. They should recover after some time. (By the way, I know that you said it was strong, but you didn't specify the concentration. Don't get confused between acid strength and concentration.)Nothing much you can do now, should have gone to the hospital when it fell on your hand...idiot immediately 911 dat s00t
Go to the Doctor.Yellow like big bird? What was the name of the acid, maybe there is a buffer to it.. it's too late you will now become a supervillain
