Pros and Cons of Windows XP Professional?
* XP is by far more reliable than any of its predecessors
* A new Remote Assistance program allows users to get direct help from tech support through their computer
* Setting up networks has never been easier than with the simple new wizards available in XP
* XP allows for multiple user accounts with password capabilities
* XP's desktop, start menu, windows, and icons are much more appealing to the eye than those of previous operating systems
The Cons
* When activating XP, users only have 30 days to register before it stops working (Microsoft's way of preventing piracy)
* Some preexisting software has been known to have compatibility problems with the new OS (operating system)
* Microsoft shows strong favoritism towards its own file types and default programs
* The infamous 'Send - Don't Send' error report window seems to pop-up too often
* Many people have had trouble locating downloaded files within all the new locations on the hard drive
