Is there such a thing? I don't care if it's LCD, Plasma, DLP or CRT,
I'm interested in a 30" or larger Hi-Def TV that goes up to a
resolution of 1080p.
Not interested in an "extended Definition" set...Yes, they do exist! Here are three TV's that meet the criteria for
your search. You are going to be able to get a standard CRT (or tube)
TV that is at least 30 inches or a rear projection for less than
$1200. I priced some from bestbuy.com for you. Since you have a
specific price-point it is easiest to search by price on most
websites.
These three are HDTV with 1080p and at least 30 inches.

I hope that this helps you find what you want.
Thanks!pink is right. Those are 1080i TV's. I did some more looking and
found some some refurbished sets, but nothing new. The price seems be
be closer to $2000 for a 1080p set. There aren't many in the smaller
sizes, like 30".
